On my last entry I love Chicago - It happened that Exel (The very first stranger I met in Chicago became my friend and the rest was history blaH.) He and I have common friends, o diva? It is a small small small world after all indeed! [Ayan Exel ewan ko na lang kung di ka pa mabenta nyan sa blog ko lol.] Thanks to you and to Cecile! If not to you guys I won’t have that great chance of a lifetime to be in Millennium Park noh! Hehehe!!!

Downtown Chicago

I was at the market buying stuffs for my lunch and my phone rang! *Oppsssie, si Exel* He left a message cause I did not hear my phone rang… Saying: *We are going downtown, do you want to come? Call me in 5 mins!* By the time I got the message and returned his call… They have left already and was on the train going to downtown.

He gave me directions how to get to downtown by train and bus… I took the later, I just don’t want to sit there and get stuck by traffic uhg…

I love Chicago!

And it’s nice people…

Upon arriving in Chicago I went to eat first no. I was so hungry - my small and large intestines are already fighting and almost killed each other ha! So I ate at some Thai Restaurant “JOY’s” rice and noodles “daw” - isn’t that too much carbs? Rice and Noodles hehehe. The food is good specially if you are really hungry noh! The price is okay $13 including tip for meal with bottomless soda. (Joy’s is located in North Broadway) I becha that food is full of taktaktak ajinomoto dahil nahilo ako, at ang noodles hindi ganito luto ano ba!

After that went for a shopping sa Walgreens ng aking showergel and some bathroom stuffs. (I don’t have anymore place in my luggage for that! kainis, my parents did not taught me how to pack it light no lol… They are to blame not me!!!)

I took a nice warm shower and before I knew I was already at Caribou some Cafe sa kanto near Joy’s sipping my double espresso while setting up my computer. (I could not breathe anymore, I cannot take this anymore. it’s been like forever since I been on the net.)

So all seats were occupied. There’s this Asian guy sitting by himself so I asked him if it’s alright to sit next to him. He said it was okay… *After saying a word the next thing I know is magkaibigan best friends for life na kami nitong mamang (Si Exel) ito. *  So I asked him if he was a Filipino and after that we was talking like we have been friends for a long time… I met him around 1pm and we finished kamustahans around 6pm lol, palitan na ng number at kung ano ano… I learned all this stuff with my ever ever social climbing 101 class with Prof. Reyna Elena.

I have never been lost, I think I have a built in navigator inside my body eh. Uhg…

From Toledo to South Bend to now where? Chicago? Well, I guess CHICAGO it is!

Thank gawd I am out of Toledo! Here is the on my window on the way to South Bend. [As in farms!] I dunno what things to do in Indiana, one thing I am sure of… I dunno anything about agriculture - Hindi ako magsasaka no!

This is in South Bend, Indiana… Seems boring! Well I guess I’ll just be going to Chicago? Anyways what is $24?

I was in Toledo, Ohio!

It was such a trip from Washington DC to Toledo, Ohio! I was in the train for like almost 13 hours! [I was bored!] Well if they have internet access inside the train, well that would be sumthin right? Unfortunately they don’t have it! And the worst thing of all? Is that, the signal of my cellphone is on and off, uhg! Good thing is I was smart enough (Batang Promil ito!) to have brought some movies with me (Betamax?) But honestly after seeing the movie for just 30 mins I was feeling bit sleepy hehehe… (Watching television is my pampahele!)

I am back on the road, going to? Nowhere…

Washington DC is getting boring now - uhg so DRY! [I have saved up a little, by bussing tables here in District of Columbia., A little money just to be able to stay on the road, to nowhere.] So I am leaving… Heading towards north! Ohio? Indiana? Pittsburgh? Oh well, I haven’t decided on that yet! [I swear, my feet are really hurting, literally! Uhg I forgot to bring slippers, yeah of all the things no? Well at least I did not forget to bring my toothbrush hehehhee, yon mahirap hiramin!]

What I only know, is that Amtrak here in DC has daily departures to anywhere ay este to all destinations pala “daw” You know, I could be so really-really-really gullible at times eh lols…

Looking for that greener and finer grass…

First stop? Washington DC! (I’ll be showing the pektures in a day or two.) Promise! For my world is still going round and round right now… Still a little bit lightheaded here uhg… *Where’s that freeking bonamin?, Just when I needed it???)

Geez, I did not imagine myself doing this! [Quitting my work and getting out of my comfort zone, uhg] But, I can’t do anything, I have to do, what I have to do…] I had fun though! Even I only have $30 on my pocket and a bagful of hope and courage. (I am a kept person kasi eh… Bwahahahaaaaa!)

Through my journey, I have met alot of friendly/nice and interesting people… And I could not ask for more! (Kahit na trenta dolyar lang ang pera ko! Uhg, Plastikadora!!! LOLS!)

I dunno how long am I staying here, maybe if the place (Washington DC) gets boring or dried up… But for now - I don’t have any plans of getting back in “the real world” not now…

I consider this real world for now… But for sure hindi ako magpapakain sa mga pating o kung ano man… Can’t Touch this NOH!
