Eastern State Penitentiary - Terror Behind the Walls!
NOTE: All images are from my last weeks day trip!
Last night we was [Gil, Jasmine, Le, Chuva, Tasha and Me] at the #1 Haunted House in America! Terror Behind the Walls at Eastern State Penitentiary!
We gots our tickets online thru ticketmaster (Thanks Gil! Sana nilubos-lubos mo na din no! Hehehe… Tutal Ritz naman kayo eh.) Tickets are now on sale for a very-very-vey cheap price for as low as $23 per person including taxes! [Pucha ang yaman na naman ng Ciudad ng Philadelphia nito!] Magandang raket to pramis! I hope all those monies doesn’t end up in some others peoples pockets no! (Parang sa Pinas? ZTE at Fertilizer scams? Hahaha…) I hope not!
There were alot of people ha, their like kabute’s here and there no bigla na lang nagsusulputan sa dami! Maybe because, just like us - many people believe that Eastern State Penitentiary is haunted!
Among the shows to investigate or document the ghosts of Eastern State Penitentiary are MTV’s Fear, Haunted History, America’s Scariest Halloween Attractions, America’s Ghost Hunters, Night Visitors, Most Haunted (for a seven-hour live broadcast) and Ghost Hunters. It was also used as the setting of a mental hospital in the Terry Gilliam film, Twelve Monkeys. [TARAY!]
As an abandoned penitentiary that is reportedly haunted, it’s such a perfect fit for Eastern State Penitentiary to transform itself every year into a haunted Halloween attraction!
Terror Behind the Walls has grown to become one of the most popular haunted attractions in the United States. It features five different stops throughout the attraction.
There’s the - Intake it is a ghostly version of prisoner processing, complete with guests participating in a line-up. The Lock Down - A walk through the notoriously haunted Cellblock 12, whose dark corridors are rigged up with electric fences and rattling cell doors. We walk through the 13 Rooms - It’s were we leave the cellblocks and move through the Mess Halls, Kitchens, Laundry room, and morgue.
The Experiment is a 3-D walk where the grotesque experiments that were concocted by the prison doctor are unleashed on the unsuspecting guests. The Night Watch is a unique experience where the only lighting that is available is from the flashlights that are provided to us.
After that prison break we went to Chinatown for a little dose of MSG to eat. The Notorious MSG aka Butsi Gang aka Jailbirds - cannot resist that taktaktak ajinomoto no! [Hinahanap-hanap ng sistema namin ang MSG!]
O diba? Daming food! Parang mga isang taong hindi kumain ang mga ka-kosa? Hahahaha… (Thanks Tasha! Happy birthday na din!) Kung alam ko lang ikaw ang magbabayad nyan eh di sna nag 5 Corona ako? Bwahaha…
